Diamond Grinding Surface Prep
We grind the entire surface with a professional 20-inch diamond grinder connected to a HEPA vacuum. This is the most important step — it creates the mechanical bond the coating needs to last and removes any existing sealers or contaminants.
Crack & Pit Repair
Every crack, pit, and low spot is filled with a polyurea or epoxy filler and leveled. We don't coat over problems — we fix them first so they don't show through the finished surface.
Moisture-Blocking Base Coat
The water vapor barrier primer is applied first. This is the step that separates a coating that lasts 10 years from one that peels in 2. It stops moisture vapor transmission from below the slab that causes delamination.
Flake Broadcast & Scrape
Flake chips are broadcast across the wet base coat for full, even coverage, then scraped and vacuumed to remove loose chips and prep for topcoat. This is where your chosen color comes to life.
UV-Stable Commercial Topcoat
The final topcoat is applied — a commercial-grade, UV-stable polyaspartic or urethane formula that resists hot tire pickup, oil, chemical spills, and UV yellowing. Warranty terms are included in your written garage coating agreement.
