Concrete OverlaysNW Arkansas

Old, cracked, faded concrete doesn't need to be replaced. Decorative overlays give it a completely new look — stamped stone, wood plank, broom finish, or knockdown texture — at a fraction of the cost of a full tear-out.

New Look, Same Slab

Transform Old Concrete Without Replacing It

Tearing out and replacing concrete is expensive, disruptive, and time-consuming. Concrete overlays let you completely transform the appearance and texture of your existing slab — without the demolition, disposal costs, or weeks of downtime.

Procoat applies a thin, cement-based overlay product directly over your existing concrete. Before any overlay goes down, we grind and prepare the surface for maximum adhesion, fill cracks and damaged areas, and ensure the base is clean and structurally ready. The overlay bonds tightly to the existing slab and can be stamped, textured, or colored into nearly any pattern you choose.

Overlay systems work on driveways, patios, pool decks, interior floors, commercial walkways — anywhere you have existing concrete that's structurally sound but visually worn out. We serve Bentonville, Rogers, Fayetteville, Springdale, Bella Vista, Cave Springs, and all of NW Arkansas.

How It Works

Concrete Overlay Installation Process

01

Free On-Site Estimate

We assess your existing concrete for structural integrity, identify cracks and damage, and discuss your finish options. You get a detailed written quote before any work begins.

02

Surface Preparation

We grind or profile the existing concrete surface to create the mechanical bond needed for the overlay to adhere. Any loose, flaking, or contaminated material is removed.

03

Crack and Damage Repair

Cracks are filled and leveled, spalled areas are patched, and any voids are addressed before the overlay goes down. This ensures a smooth, consistent result.

04

Primer Application

A bonding primer is applied to the prepared surface to ensure maximum adhesion between the existing slab and the new overlay material.

05

Overlay Application

The cementitious overlay is troweled or spray-applied over the surface. For stamped finishes, the texture mat is pressed in while the overlay is still workable. For broom or knockdown, the texture is applied by hand.

06

Color and Sealer

Color stains or dyes are applied to achieve the desired look, then a protective sealer or topcoat is applied to protect the surface from moisture, UV exposure, and wear.
